The Palmas Athletic Club Racket Center is in the exclusive community of Palmas del Mar in Humacao, Puerto Rico. Our Racket Center is the home of fourteen hard courts, four Har-Tru courts, and six dedicated professional level pickleball courts. Club members, community, visitors, and tourists will find an oasis for the development and enjoyment of the sports of Tennis and Pickleball. Throughout the year we offer a pleasant space where people enjoy competitive games, clinic programs, private classes, and tournaments. At the Racket Pro Shop, you will find the latest sports equipment and sportswear, stringing service, and everything you may need at the courts.

Fun Activities
Visiting the court is always an excellent choice. Whether it is a weekday or weekend our monthly event schedule is designed for the enjoyment of all adults and children of any age. Activities like themed clinics, various exhibitions, and weekend social events are waiting for you at the base line. The monthly Friday Night Tennis exhibition “Friday Night Fights” featuring our local top professionals as well as our Monday and Friday Night Pickleball Open plays, are part of what keeps the Racket Club buzzing year-round.

Drills, practices, and lessons
Palmas Athletic Club maintains a full-time staff of five certified PTR tennis professionals and a PPA and PPR certified head pickleball professional. The racket club offers a variety of practices, drills and clinics for adults and children. Choose between Pickleball “Shot Of The Day” clinics, Tennis “Stroke Of The Day”, Back to Basics, Double Strategy, High Performance, High Intensity Tennis, Drills and Skills, Pickleball or Tennis Cardio Live Ball, and more. Daily Drills are held for members and guests Monday through Saturday, as well as cardio tennis, private groups, and league practices. Private lessons and groups are available seven days a week. More than ten USTA teams compete seasonally, in leagues, while our membership provides monthly tournaments round robins and camps for all to enjoy. Our latest addition of Beach Tennis is available upon request.

Matching Program
Our members community offers an active “Matchmaking Program” for those players looking for a playing partner. The matchmaking program has all skill levels from 2.0 to 5.0. The Racket Sports Concierge offers a personalized experience for tennis and pickleball lovers. We take care of all the details, arranging private lessons and providing information about any kind of event that is going to be held at our club. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, our service ensures you get the most out of your time on the court.
Junior Racket Program!
The Tennis Developmental Program is offered to players between the ages of four – seventeen, Monday to Friday. Tennis High Performance for ages eight – seventeen is a program designed for the junior player aspiring to play high school, college, tournaments, or pro. Our Tennis developmental Program for ages four – seventeen is designed to teach proper fundamental skills and technique in a fun, game-oriented setting. All the coaches are trained in ‘Safe Play’ and apply the most updated methods for the player’s safety and wellbeing Monday through Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
